Welcome to Ryder Duncan's World! This is the sixth iteration of the homepage, and also the first major redesign in the page's history. Does this mean I'll be updating here more often? Probably not, but at least you get this.

So what is this place? It started off as a grand idea back in the summer of 2008. I wanted to review music, post examples from my studio, collect up humor, bloviate about tech, and rant about whatever came to mind. There are blogs for each of these things, so the framework's all here. I could start tomorrow. I might just do that, since I put the effort into this new homepage. Someday I'm going to review every single Genesis album. I have all of them.

So what's new here? Well, the homepage, of course. I haven't done any major web design since 2010, and a lot of stuff has changed since then. Also, I was using the outdated table-based layout method. The new layout is going to be awesome, though of course it will likely go through half a dozen iterations before it gets there. So I'm calling this Homepage 2.0 Beta. At my historical rate of motivation, expect Homepage 2.0 Final sometime around 2016.

So enjoy your time here. Most of it will probably be spent reading the blogs, anyway, so hopefully you resonate with my general geekiness and my obsession with all things Genesis or Mario.
