About Ryder
What can I say? I’m Ryder Duncan, your humble site host. Actually, that’s not my real name, but my stage name. I’m not going to tell you my real name. Paranoid? Nope, I just like my stage name better than my real one. I will also refer to myself on occasion as Squonk, so heads up on that.
Among many things, I’m a musician, a writer, a tech geek, a vintage audio enthusiast, a D&D nerd, a cheese connoisseur, a Dr Pepper drinker (insult it and I shall smite you where you stand), and a college student. I take the first one fairly seriously. Many people love music, but I’m one of those blessed enough to take my appreciation to the next level by actually writing it. I’m a keyboardist and a vocalist, and I have my own home studio. On occasion, I’ll be posting some of my work here in my blog. Most of the time, though, I’ll probably just talk about whatever. I’m an avid Linux user (though I don’t know a lick of programming), so I’ll likely blog about that sometimes. You know, whatever floats my boat.
